Thunderbird Releases 2014 Dates for Top-ranked Executive Education Program

December 12, 2013
Thunderbird International Consortia offers managers and executives real, applicable solutions to global challenges

Thunderbird School of Global Management has released the 2014 dates for its top-ranked executive education program, Thunderbird International Consortia. This semi-custom program brings together managers and executives from globally focused organizations for a two-week series of courses designed to address their current specific global challenges.

Participating organizations help to define the consortium curriculum which ensures that executives get the most out of the experience. But unlike a completely custom-designed program, Thunderbird draws on the global challenges of all participating multinational organizations to develop the curriculum, such as:

  • Succession planning and retention
  • Expansion into new markets
  • New product and service development
  • Profitable growth
  • Defining your organization’s global strategy

The topics are presented using an experiential learning approach with lecture by Thunderbird’s world-renowned faculty, as well as through case study, simulations, report-back presentations and engaging group discussions. The result is a candid and constructive learning environment where challenges are aired, ideas are shared and solutions are discovered.

“This program provides participants with the opportunity to build their global mindset, their networks and continue to strengthen their leadership skills,” said Senior Vice President of Thunderbird Executive Education Dennis Baltzley.

In 2014, Thunderbird International Consortia will be offered Mar. 2 – 13, Jun. 1 – 12 and Sep. 21 – Oct.2. All of the two-week programs will be offered at Thunderbird’s campus near Phoenix, Arizona.

Since 1993, Thunderbird has operated multiple international consortia groups with Global 500, Fortune 500 and S&P 500 companies from a range of industries including automotive, consumer products, energy, technology, manufacturing and pharmaceutical/health care. Thunderbird Executive Education is ranked as a Top 10 provider worldwide by Financial Times. The publication also ranks Thunderbird’s open enrollment programs, including the Thunderbird International Consortia, as No. 3 in the world.
