Global Faculty Ranked No. 1 in the World for Open Enrollment Programs

The Financial Times has ranked Thunderbird School of Global Management as one of the world’s top 10 providers of executive education. This year, the publication places Thunderbird No. 9 in the overall executive education ranking, No. 3 for Open Enrollment Programs and No. 21 for Custom Programs.

The school’s Open Enrollment programs were further recognized as No. 1 for “faculty,” “international location,” “course design” and “teaching methods and materials”- the only school out of 65 in the survey with four No.1 rankings by category. All of these top rankings represent many of the key differentiators between Thunderbird’s programs and those of its competitors.

“These rankings are particularly important to us because it is based on our client’s direct feedback to the Financial Times,” said Dennis Baltzley, Ph.D., Senior Vice President for Executive Education at Thunderbird. “We are taking time today to say ‘thank you’ to our clients for their business, and being part of the Thunderbird family that make these successes possible.”

Thunderbird’s Executive Education programs are delivered wherever the client’s needs take them, yet often from the school’s three main campuses in Glendale, Arizona, Geneva, and Moscow. Of the many things unique to Thunderbird Executive Education, central is the fact that we are “global” to our core. A great example of this is a leadership program that Thunderbird developed with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE). Created exclusively for global managers who do business overseas, the program is delivered in New Zealand, the United States, and China. Perhaps even more uniquely, this work is designed and delivered with global partners -- The University of Auckland and Cheng Kung University.

Thunderbird’s Open Enrollment programs are short, non-degree, certificate-based programs for executives and business professionals seeking the specific and targeted skills they need to compete in today’s global marketplace. These courses are offered on campus in Glendale and abroad, as well as and online.

Thunderbird’s custom executive education programs offer businesses throughout the world a wide array of customized degree and non-degree programs that are specifically designed for companies based on their unique objectives and challenges.
